Woooo-hoooo! Does this mean that I can get a mocha vente with a panty ripper chaser?!!Riiiight on to Chica Blanca! Coming from the Seattle area, and a serious coffee junkie, this makes me very excited! Or perhaps I am just jittery from the 4 cups of coffee I had at lunch wink Can NOT wait to check it out! 72 days & counting!!!!! Going for round 3 of San Pedro, I am already packed! Gets more exciting every time & harder to leave new friends behind. May just have to come some day & not leave. First time posting, hope I'm doing it right.

Dave and Chap are excellent and very professional hosts.

About time we had an outside coffee shop in town which also sells beer.

EllyMay,
Yes you can get a great mocha at Island Perk!! I am a Seattle girl myself, by way of SF Bay Area. I started drinking serious espresso when I lived across the street from the B&O Espresso and worked around the corner from Uptown Espresso. I can't promise the panty ripper, Pineapple juice is on the customs list for things we can not import. Supplies of canned juice are running out in the country.
Look us up when you arrive.

Chica Blanca,

We have an unlimited fresh supply of Pineapples in Belize. We should use our own products and not import any foreign juice whatsoever.

I fully support the Government on this course of action. I suggest you do so too!

Canned Juice, what are you talking about? That is a recipe for disaster in Belize.

Maybe you should start selling instant coffee as you obviously think processed foodstuffs are the way forward!

Government of Belize, who is in a terrible financial bind, is moving to reduce imports wherever possible. One move is to ban any import that can be obtained in country, for instance citrus products and pineapple products. We're celebrating the 25th birthday of Belize tonight. A good patriotic attitude would help - buy domestic products as much as possible.

Peace smile I must say, I do REALLY respect that many things are made for Belize IN Belize. We always check when buying gifts to take home.
