Where's the Chinese take-out, SL? Since Jade closed I wasn't aware of a place but know I'm gonna miss egg rolls when I get to go back.

Hey, Sd - do ya grill your own CB?...couldn't find good [read Texas style] CB when I was there and everyone told me that it was because of Menonite beef...got a turkey for Thanksgiving the first trip but never thought to get ground sirloin...did a guy named Jim sell the SF?...guess I thought they only sold to the restaurants.

if your looking for red meat!?!?!? personally i waited until i got home for that, i found the steak to be too fatty and too much grisle! But the chicken and fish is great anywhere you go!! Middle street is where pretty much all the restuarants are and the remaining are on the beach! Papi's Diner had really good hamburgers... other than that everything else mentioned is really good!

I usually avoid white meat in restaurants just b/c of food poisoning! but surprising in places in South and Central America the usually over cook the meat or just perfect, i don't think i really worried about the white meat after awhile... I'll agree to that spots the pork dishes are good!

Spots... you made me really wanna go back even more! i do love the way they cook their chicken there... Tastes like soulfood! YUM smile Can't wait 4 more months!!

Definately an area I will look at more closely on my next visit...there's never enough time! Hoping to make it back in Feb. '07.
