I had to share this picture I took while we were at the Banana Beach last week. We fell in love with Ambergris Caye and the hotel, and will be contacting them again soon to make reservations for next year!

OH, Marty! This photo gets me so worked up. I will be arriving at Banana Beach May 26th. This is my 2nd trip to AC. The first time I stayed at Casa Tortuga. I canot say enough good things about CT and Maria (the cook). The only downside was that we didn't get to sample the local restaurants but a couple of times. Thanks for the picture; can't wait to get there!!!

yeah, Maria can cook! we call CT the Palace. you will sure enjoy banana beach!!! great resort, great food. mmm. i'm hungry for one of those el divino feasts...

Off the subject and in the wrong forum...what is the most economical way to call back to the US from AC? We learned the hard way about calling collect from CT. I figured you would probably know so forgive me, please. Kathy

OR.....a young mutton snapper on the Barbie right out in front of Rm. 14 at the Palms? can see that picture just as clear....yum!

Don't forget about the bar just to the left in the photo. Boy do I miss that.

You can also buy a BTL card (USA Connect) and use it from a BTL phone or Digicell. I think it is about .75 a minute.
