We've heard reports of two Jaguars being spotted near the Portofino. Can anyone confirm if its true?

I heard that too, from the people who live there. Can't confirm, as I didn't see them. But it might explain why there are no longer raccoons digging through our garbage cans and ruining screens. ????

Smaller cat species, yes. A jaguar? Not enough territory or space for one, let alone two, unles they were recently deposited there.

I have also heard about jaguar sightings. One of our workers (who is from mainland and swears he can tell the difference between jaguar and other cats) said he saw a young one in the Mata Grande area last year (where Kathy notes the sudden lack of raccoons) - me, I think we have a big cat or two.
