The Sand Pedro Sun has an itemized list of where donations for Hurricane Keith were spent. I know Marty and the rest of us who donated, didn't specify where the money was to go, but spending over $10,000.00 on a Christmas party, was not on my list, nor I'm sure not on the many people who donated. What the hell does a Christmas party have to do with a Hurricane fund? The road going to the South end of the island was destroyed, and has never been repaired. The people owning down South, now have to come up with money out of their own pockets to have the road repaired because all of the money is gone.
We're glad Marty specified where the donations for Iris were to go. Thank You Marty for doing this and for all your help.

Where is the info on the party??? Hadn't heard this one??? We donated quiet a bit for "Keith", but most of it we took directly to the people. There were "misused funds", but we are positive the $$$ we raised for Iris went to build homes. Geez...that's what gvernment will do for ya!!!! C&R

The San Pedro sun had the itemized amounts listed in the Nov. 28TH. issue. I don't have the paper with me now, but it showed aprox. $66,000.00 in donations, and listed where the money was spent. $10,000.00 for a Chirstmas party, $150.00 for emergency shelter. Go figure. Sounds like the government got things mixed up to me.
