I wont eat there again as i dont want to support a business that takes advantage of tourists (bad for the whole island), nor will i neglect to ask the price of something before hand.
I think this must have been an honest mistake. There is no one who looks more like a tourist in San Pedro than I do. I have never been overchanged at Waruguma. I have always paid the price on the menu board.
Newfoundlanders are the only people in heaven who want to go home.

Was this the listed price or were you really overcharged? Why did you not ask and speak up? $20 for a huge burrito sounds right.

i don't recall being charged differently between tourists and locals when i was there! even the locals said they pay the same as we do... we made sure to ask around b/c when we were dominican Republic they do charge differently if ur a tourist compared to a local... and i mean there's a big difference... i'd still love to go back though! but that's definately something that i loved about SP... no price discrepencies!

ahhhh tell them you live here cause there are places that do charge different, just like in Vegas. However not the restaurants, some give us 10-15% off the bill.

Sorry, just had to mention that we will be repeating last year's success with very good and reasonably priced breakfast and lunch at our restaurant or on the beach (which ever you prefer) located north between Journey's End and Mata Chica. Breakfast Burritos, French Toast to die for, fresh fish and more. Re-opening mid/end of November.
Mata Grande Studios & Resort (old Sundiver)
P.S.: Still have some rooms available for Christmas/New years!
