Went to work on my boat in the
old dry dock behind the Capri Hotel -- in Corozal -- this morning. Drove in
from the street, round to the back -- parked the car -- started getting my
tools out. My wife say -- look the Capri is burned up!!

Sure enough -- the building had burned to the ground during the night and
only the cement surrounding structures still stood.

There goes one of the landmarks of Corozal Town. The great dance hall!

It was still open and operating. Gilharry 7 played there a lot -- I believe
they were to have another dance soon.

All up in smoke now!!

Saw that on the news Marty....sad story.
Sadest part is that they didn't have insurance. I'm sure the community will rally to help them though.
