Due to Keith I had to cancel a vacation to Caye Calker with my Son. We have been studying everything we could get our hands on about the Island an have fallen in love with it, without even having been there and plan a trip attempt asap.
Hopefully the island has not suffered too much damage and that all the folks are ok.
We would really appreciate any possible info about how the Caye made it through the storm and perhaps how long before things are back running again.

Lucky...I heard a few conflicting reports. One said that ten houses had been destroyed, the roof flew off the school and other major damage from trees and flying debris. The other report said that almost ALL the houses on the west side had been destroyed and that there wasn't a building that didn't have some damage, mainly roofs. However, no casualties and a supply boat supposedly got them some food and water.
