Does anyone know how things are at the Ligthhouse Reef Resort? How about the people, 2 cute dogs, Boobie Birds and Lighthouse on Halfmoon Caye? Was the Lighthouse Reef area affected badly by Keith? We own land on Long Caye. Any info would be great.

Tony Rath and the BTB are saying that everything is okay on Lighthouse, no injuries, only modest damage.

Lan! Do you know how the Red Footed Boobie Birds made it through the storm? I hope they are okay. These poor birds are endangered and loosing them would be terrible.

Sorry, I don't know. Assume they made it okay -- birds usually get through hurricanes fine.

Thanks Lan! I have talked to Mark from the Lighthouse Reef Resort and he said that they only got the back end of the Hurricane and had no damage just a couple of fallen Palm Trees but otherwise not bad at all. Sounds like the Birds and Reef should be okay!
