has anyone heard of a resort called Exotic Cay Beach Resort? If so where is it located, and would you recommend it as a place to stay?

It's the old Playador on Coconut Drive south of San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye.

Hve stayed at the Playador/Exotic Caye Resort ove thanksgiving for the last two years. We had reservations this year but decided to go to placentia instead (first Thanksgiving in 10 years that we have not spent in San Pedro. It has been in a state of construction for sevral years. We have had good experience there .. except for the restaraunt. It has a pool and a nice beach. It is south of the airport/south of town and in walking distance to town. Be sure to check with not only the Exotic Caye People, but someone else to see if they are up and running. Stateside Exotic Caye rep told us very minimul damage. Friend from Caves Branch on mainland told us considerable damage. Also Belize Tourism Board told me to look elsewhere for accomodations. When are you going? Have fun.
