Lori,
Where in PA are you? I'm outside of Pittsburgh. Hidden Valley and Blancaneaux are different, and both very nice. Hidden Valley has separate cabanas, a big public room with couches, great to read, mingle, fireplace too (if I remember correctly). The thousand foot falls is on the property along with many other falls. I once visited and Bull, the owner, took me for an adventurous ride seeing the different falls. It is surrounded by the pine forest.
Blancaneaux is a totally different atmosphere. Also, very nice, small restaurant that served one of the best pizzas I had ever had. The owner, Francis Ford Coppola brought the oven from Italy and his wine is also available. The rooms are gorgeous and located above the refreshing river running through the mountain.
Both places are very nice, not sure what the comparison is price wise.
It would be a long haul to Jaguar Paw. The chances of seeing a jaguar, I think are slim, even in the jaguar reserve, but who knows? I remember one time Bull from Hidden Valley telling me about a jaguar walking outside of the big room. I would suggest considering Ian Anderson's river cave trip. Also far from the pine ridge but an awesome excursion.
