Has anyone out there ever been single and living on AC? How was it? Do the Belizean women like guys from the USA.....some insight would be appreciated!(so to speak!)

I hear dating can be difficult for a single guy because the island is very small and, well, you know all the troubles that go with being in a small town. I hear that it's always fun to meet women who come there on vacation, but that can be difficult too, especially when you form bonds with people. I have a friend who I met there who really hit it off with a guy who lives there. We all had so much fun, but it bothered him to see her go. She is going back for the whole summer to live with him and I'll be interested to see how it works out. How fun it would be if they got married!!! Also, I know a person who married a Belizean and lives down there. I guess anything can happen, but the dating pool is a whole lot smaller than Boston!

You would probably have more luck with single women travelers instead of the locals.

Yes I'm with Laurie Mannix. Also if you are a chef I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble finding some thin tourist woman there, just cook her a great meal and I bet she'll follow you around. I tell you. I ended up following Paisano around one night without a meal in his hand (just a guitar case), just think what a great meal could do.
