We will be visiting in November...(2 women) need info on everything....probably be staying mostly in San Pedro...need suggestions for one week of exploring and r & r. What about any problems we might encounter (eg. political unrest etc?)

Political unrest in Belize? We have two parties here who fight in the newspapers, not the streets. The only party you'll have to concern yourself with while traveleing in Belize, is the party you plan to go to that night...

Consider splitting your time between the beach and the Cayo area with the lovely riverside jungle lodges and activites that include ruins, caving, horses, canoeing/kayaking, birding and more.
