Hi to everyone I met on the 4th! I've just been back a couple of days, but I came back to "Computer Hell". Mine was in a coma when I got home. (I make my living on a computer, so it's a biggie for me). Anyway, I'm using my back-up now, and trying to figure out what to do with my "work" one. Anyway... you all were so nice, and I'm glad to have met each and every one of you. I hear some of you went partying with my daughter after I left??? I don't know if I'll ever have the time to do a semi-trip-report, but the bottom line is that the house is now furnished and ready to rent. Nothing went perfectly, but all got done eventually. Only really bad thing that happened was Meghan and Laci's trip to cave tubing. Disaster. They wasted $140.00 each for that fiasco. The problem was the guide, and we are dealing with that. Won't go over it on this board.

Hey, Marty! Every time a boat came up to the dock I'd think... "maybe it's Marty and family, coming for a swim"! But alas... it never was! Hope you had a great time.

Even though I loved being there for 16 days, I missed my hubby a lot. It wasn't the same without him. You can only arrange furniture for so many hours a day.

Meghan's first dive was awesome, and so was my and Laci's snorkeling. Carlos took great care of Meg. (I tried, but couldn't get in touch with Gaz, so after one week I decided I'd better get something scheduled. It's hard when you don't have a phone -- we're on BTL's list, but who knows when we'll actually get one). We saw 2 barracuda, and a sea turtle -- a HUGE sea turtle! Reminder to anyone as stupid as me -- put sunscreen on your back -- ALL of your back -- when you snorkle. The sun is killer down there.

My desk is overflowing with work... other duties are pressing... but I can't quite shake that "AC attitude" yet. Gimme another week... then maybe...

Don't do it Kathy. Don't give it up. Trust me on this one; it's not worth it. Keep that island attitude. It helps keep everything else in perspective.

Aloha - LOL! yeah, it's empty. There's no key under the mat, and I doubt you could convince Raymond to let you in... he checks everyone out pretty good. Some guys showed up one afternoon to visit Meghan and Laci, and Raymond gave them the third degree. He's so cute. You wouldn't want to stay North of SP anyway! No big parties up there! Now when you want to straightline your brain... no better place.

Howdy, Kathy! Glad your time on AC was productive, in the end, and relaxing, I hope! It was so great to meet you and have a little chance to talk while waiting for luggage in Belize City. Your daughter and her friend were just the beautiful and sweetest young ladies. Could tell they were thoroughly enjoying their time in Paradise! Will be waiting to hear more about your house and what your rental rates will be... I wouldn't mind getting away from town and just have some p&q... guess I'm getting old!

It's just as hot, or hotter, here in Houston and how I miss that ocean breeze!

My qualifications on home repair: currently helping restore a house that looked like it was hit by a bomb. Security qualification: black belt in karate. Good enough? Hey Guys!! Yes we did come home. It was tough but the plane tickets were already paid for!! We had a great time meeting all of you wonderful people. Hi!! Jillb!! Aloha & Paul, sooo sorry! but we missed you at Papi's and went to Elvi's instead (BIG MISTAKE)!! We had WAY TOO MUCH fun with Rico on the Cave Tubing so we were dragging. Jlslks & Linda we had such fun with y'all TOO! Do y'all feel like there was still a bunch of stuff you wish you could have done? We do! I guess that means another trip!
