How much is the bus from Belize City to Placencia?? How often do the buses run? And how long is the trip from Belize City to Placencia?

From what I understand (second hand, but reliable source), the bus (Z-line) costs $10 BZ, or $5 US, and takes 2.5 hours from Belize City to Placencia. I plan on making that trip this fall, so pls post how it went.
