Don't worry Bill, Ram's opener right around the corner. Warner and Faulk will help you forget! At least you don't have to watch the Jaguars.

BT,
I've given this a lot of thought (as usual) and I'm pretty darn sure I've got the answer for ya.

How 'bout sending Paisano a ticket, have him fly up to St. Looie, and hang with you for a couple months or so. He could bring a big ol' bag of unpolished conchs for the two of you to work on evenings after dinner.

I'll just bet that his "if you pay me I'll leave your business" scheme would also work great in Missouri. Just think of the extra spending money he cought generate for ya.

You're very welcome.

Choochoo, LOL. Do you know that Paisano was one of the best memories from my trip!!! I'm only hoping I get to see him when I go back in November, he kept me laughing with his antics when I was there in May. One day I picked him up in the golf cart and he was flipping the San Pedro police officers off and calling them names, I'm yelling at him to stop it and he just tells me to speed up, they were going to come and get us. I still remember the tears rolling down my cheeks from him.

I remember how happy you all were when Jax won the Jaguars, my daughter(in St. Aug.) even sent me a Jaguars T-shirt, now she's back in St. Louis and wearing a Rams T-shirt.

(Lesson, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.)

now if we could just do something about our winters.

B-B-f-B,

Do NOT worry about Paisano being in San Pedro when you go back. He'll be there as usual. The only times we can remember him being gone for a while was when the gov. gave him some "temporary lodging" over on the mainland. (And a pretty snappy haircut, too).

Of course now you might have to co-ordinate your travels with the travel timing of Bill's pending house guest.

Thanks for the great input, guys (and gals). A funny story I heard bout da Paisano is that after his last incarceration, the warden at Ladyville, barred him from returning because of the trouble he starts when in prison. I've heard of guys not being able to get out, but Paisano can't get back in. PS. We need Paisano to apply for one of those new jobs as a replacement official for NFL Football. He'd look just great out there.

I think Paisano would be a natural for makin the on-field calls. I'm sure he would be able to add some new revised hand signals and instead of throwing a flag, a conchshell would probably get more respect.

I can't picture Paisano studying the film on those calls that get challenged. Think he might take a nap when they pull that black cloth over his head.

Paisano is sure an interesting character. The first night I was there in May, I knew right who he was. Gave him 5 bucks because he was hungry. The man came back and showed me what he bought: chicken and some pepsi. Thought that was kinda cool.

jane,

He's been winning the "Survivor" contest, more or less, for the at least the last ten years that we've known him. No need to encourage Paisano any more then he already is.

PS--send me an email and tell me for certain what goes into these Undie Ripper things. As usual I'm a bit confused. You don't use vodka, right?

I'm heading off for a last minute trip before my big move home and just had so share it with someone - I'M SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!! It'll be a short trip - but so worth it! So, it's 13 days to paradise and counting. Am I blessed or what?

Sorry, Bill. I've been purple, too, the last few months as I've listened to others planning thier trips. I'll only be there 4 nights. It's a whirlwind, but had to do it... as I'm starting a new job, after this it might be awhile. Good luck to you in getting over your blues. I'll be right back there with ya in a couple of weeks when I return. :-(

Hey Bill,
BTW, I saw your other post about staying 4/6 months... I may be going back sooner, but hey, if you've had the good fortune of staying there that long - and are going back for another go - well, let's just say my 4/5 days doesn't really compare. Can't really feel bad anymore! LOL! Seriously, I hope you get to go back soon, too. Cheers!
