Can anyone give me there opinon of Crystal Paradise? Thinking about finishing up our stay There (6 days in san pedro first) but do not want to make a bad choice, if you have any other ideas they are all welcome! Also what are your thoughts on fun and really cool things we should be doing while in the area?

I was there about 2 years ago for a couple of days... Very friendly family... The cabanas are very nice ! a few minutes walk from the river, in a quite area. Friendly atmosphere... They had organised day trips for us : Caracol, Xunantunich, Canoe on the Macal river, etc... I would definitely go back !

I sorta agree with Karin. It's a pretty good place, not high end, but more moderate or low-moderate level in both price and amenities. It's one of a relative handful of Belizean-owned lodges in Cayo. The Tut (pronounced Toot) family is friendly (and large) and they can arrange most anything.

It really depends on the people -- what you want to do, how many amenities, how much you want to pay.
