I'm thinking about coming to Belize and as far as I know my high school friend Jim Diehl (they called him Smokey) is still living around San Pedro. He owned some land on Ambergris Caye. Anyone that knows him it would be very much appreciated if they would ask him to e-mail and tell me how to find him.
Last i knew he lived on Lagoon St.
It would be great that if I came to visit him that he was still there.
Thank You very much

I've got to wonder if that's the fella that used to guard/hangout at the Aquarius dock. Anybody?

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

Jim is still there.....
Has a business called Stoned Art....makes pictures and souveniers from stone....beautiful stuff. He had a little shop at The Boatyard b/4 hurricane Keith....but it was destroyed....not sure where he is working out of now.

I know you can contact him thru the Emerald Chinese restaurant at the north end of Front St. They carry his stuff in there and you usually see him there.

Hope this helps [Linked Image]

Jim can be found every morning around 7am on Ruby's porch overlooking the water. He's back there with some regulars having coffee, smoking cigarettes and just plain shooting the breeze.

The reason I know...I just got back from AC on Saturday (the first flight back on Cont.) and I stayed in room #23 at Ruby's. I could hear the gang in the morning.

Actually, Jim was the first one to tell me about the WTC/Pentagon attack. I opened my door and was still wiping the sleep from my eyes when Jim asked me if I heard the news.

The rest is history.

Hey yat, sorry i didn't get to hook up with ya at Ruby's. My flight was cancelled, no time to reschedule (poor me!). I'm sure you had a great time!
