Why don't you try that route first before you spend anymore money????

How do I try that? Gary won't return my email (at least not for the last couple of weeks). The phone rolls overs to a fax/modem line. I don't know where Gary is, actually. And we have plane reservations to arrive on Nov 3, based on Gary's assurances. At what point do I stop believing that Gary will make it all right and commit new money to find lodging?

Did you have a confirmed reservation at Basil Jones? If so then Gary would have already discussed alternate accomodations with you.

Oh come on now everybody, dont you know that we are all supposed to forgive Gary and give him the benefit a doubt ? That all our money and space banking is not important right now. That we are supposed to be hopefull that he is in the states right now maybe trying to find a rich uncle ?! Seems that I read that on an earlier post ... hmm..... Sorry to hear about the basil Jones project, I was also a friend of Adams and Tammys and everyithing Tammy has posted is true she was duped by Adam and I was also extremely surprised he did a bunk.

Gary first arrived in San Pedro while Adam was in europe, Adam was never to return.

So gary settled into his job beleiveing Adam would return shortly as tammy did, it was not to be, Adam never came back and everthing was left in Garys lap to sort out.

based on the fact that Gary is under sever attack here when really the attack shoudl be directed towards Adam.
Gary should of just packed up his bags and returned back to the states as soon as he realized Adam was not coming back and had done a runner, as now it seems that he will bear the brunt of everyone wrath.

On another note if accomodation is not provided by basil jones for those who have reservations please feel free to e-mail me at gaz@btl.net and if i have space in my resort i will offer it a a dramatically reduced rate for anyone who is due to visit Ambergris and has been duped by Basil Jones.

Belize2002--There is no doubt that Gary has misled us about the true state of things at the resort and I am not happy about that. However, public accusations and name calling aren't going to make anything right. Let's hear what he has to say.

Gaz! Thank you for the generous offer. I also truly believe that Gary got this dumped into his lap but he still was bending the truth a little to much and kept making us believe the resort would open in October and everything was just fine. This was dishonest even so it was not his fault. In a way I feel bad for him but not when I think how much money the quatershare owners lost. I feel so bad for them!!!!!

They came to my rescue!! Now we can start thinking on what to pack instead of where to sleep!!Thanks Again ,We owe you one.
