This is my first time posting so not sure if I'm doing it right.
We also have a deposit on a lot on Long Caye. We are getting ready to retire and can hardly wait to get out of the rainy season here in the winter and spend some time there.
We are interested in any ideas one would have on how to devolep the lot. Any ideas would be great.

Have you ever been to Belize?
I too bought a lot on Long Caye but do not plan on any construction there for at least a year. I don't plan to EVER live there. I hope you don't think you can live there in the near future.
I'm sure if you search these bulletin boards you will find a lot of information on Long Caye.

Yes we have spent some time in Belize. We have a deposit on 148 in the osprey division.
We don't plan on living there either , only spending time there in the winter season. We would like to put up a small sturcture , maybe one of the mennenite houses if that will pass the eco board. We are planning on visiting next winter and getting a grip on what has to be done.
I keep pretty good track on what is going on in Belize and read the message boards often.
