Hello all!!

I'm going to Belize for the first time at the end of July and I just wanted to know if any of you guys have any suggestions on where to go? what to do? what the weather is like? and everything else that I would need to know about Belize. Thanks

As to where to go it depends almost entirely on your interests. Do you want to fish, snorkel, swim, dive? Would you rather see Maya ruins, hike, bird, go caving, canoeing? Are you interested in cultural tourism, ecotourism, or what?

Belize is not that big a country, only about the size of Massachusetts, but like Mass. it has a variety of ecosystems, climates and topographies.

The weather also is somewhat variable depending on where you go -- inland or on the cayes or in the far south or whereever.

It depends on what you personally want to do in Belize. If I spend time telling you about the Maya ruins, but you are a beach person, both of us will waste our time.
