I just talked to a young couple from Sweden that had a rental car from Cancun that they had permission to take into Belize.
They did all their reserch on the web and had it prebooked. Dave

Not that I don't trust Mexicans, but I would like to know how it eventually turns out..just for fun. Maybe things have come of age there now. I prebooked a car once and was disappointed.

Well they had the car and a letter giveing them permition to take the car to Belize.
I gve them directions to get from here in Chetumal to the border so I don't know if Belize let them in but I would think they would have no problem.

Lan They said they got about 4 replys that would rent but non of the major companys would. I can't recall the name right now.
