Belize's former Ambassador to the UN and an internationally respected jurist Edward Laing Jr. died of a massive heart attack around noon yesterday. Eddie was vacationing with his family and was enjoying a day of snorkeling at Caye Caulker when the incident occurred. An official funeral will be held in Belize this weekend. May his soul rest in peace.
