My fiance and I's honeymoon destination is closed until after our alloted time for our honeymoon.

We were told that Hamanasi (in Hopkins) is a good alternative. Does anyone know anything? Thanks!!!!!!

As a betting man, I would not mess witht the Placencia peninsula. IMAHO, The risk is just too high. Any of the cayes sound as if there was no damage, and most people would agree that the islands can be as romantic and isolated as you desire.
I'm not sure what yopu budget is, and I'm guessing that the Cayes will be more than Hopkins.

I was at Hamanasi in August, had a wonderful time. The diving was great and the accommodations are even better, great food too. It wasn't our Honeymoon, the wife and I have been married for 25+ years,however the more isolated wooded rooms offered a great deal of privacy, come to think of it, we did Honeymoon again.... and again... and again!! I would recommend it, Hamanasi that is... I'm sure you'll find something to do during your stay. If you go and if you have time, tell Dave and Dana hello for me, PRIDER from New Orleans.
