KC: to answer your questions, the snakes average from about 12-18in. in length. They drown in the rum in about 1-2 minutes. They stay in the bottle. I was there when they got their first alcohol tester. The rum tested 192 proof, embalming fluid.

And, I disqualify myself and proclaim Chloe the sole winner.

I ain't drinking anything with a dead animal in it. That just can't be good for you.

$150.00 US a bottle huh? I guess after you have a shot or two of 192 proof anything, that price might seem ok.

My whole bar tab for a week wouldn't be that much, LOL.

Okay - I've been a lurker on this board for over a year, and the message that finally gets me to post is about Viper Rum?!?!? Guess that pretty much tells you all you need to know about me :-D

Anyway, I have a picture of the Viper Rum, which should be cheaper than actually having to have it shipped (and kinder than drinking it!). You'll have to page thru all my other photos of our trip last year, but it's photo #35. Hope it helps........Janet
