Hi... just looking for some help once again. wink
I broke our camera (yep it got all tired out takin pixs of me) wink and we were thinking of getting a digital. I found one today however that actually takes a CD in it, so it goes right from the camera to the PC. Anyone know anything about this stuff? Suggestions?
Many thanks friends!

...we use a Sony Mavica that takes pics/short mpegs right to a 3" CD... in short, it's GREAT. Can't begin to describe the convenience of being able to take pics direct to disc... Image quality of the pics is fantastic (ours is a slightly older 3.3 model... believe they have higher res ones out now)... also nice being able to shoot short mgegs, pop the disc out and into your computer and be e-mailing movies moments later. It would be VERY hard to convince me to go back to a camera that uses flash memory card...

On the same subject (sort of?) What sort of cameras are you all using for those underwater shots? RobertE had some on his photo post? How about it Robert?
The Digital with the mini CD sounds interesting too! I would love to see some photos from that!

For underwater Sony made the DSC P1 3.43 which uses the MPK-P1 Marine Pack case for $659 plus $189 for the case. I've seen the Pic's it produces... one word..SWEET! This was last year so prices may be less now.
The great thing is that it also serves as a land camera.
Life May Be a Beach...I prefer Reefs...
