Pay the immigration guy 20 bucks if you are leaving from Mexico, don't spend much over the per diem, have a great time...

I'd love to go to Cuba. Please give us all the details you can. Been said the US can be a bit nasty...Marty's been there, but won't give much for details...

here is some good info from Rodales

that first one I posted is a canadian website - they don't have to worry about hassles about going, but it still has some useful info

easy to get to through Cancun, MoBay, Canada, Caymans.

If you go through MoBay and are US citizen, Air Jamaica will book you a seat in advance BUT you cannot pay for it until you are in MoBay and must provide proof that you have a ticket to/from MoBay, either with them or another carrier. When you arrive MoBay, you just go to the counter, give them your $$, picket up your ticket and tourist visa and go have fun.

Cancun - Aerocaribe works same way.

Caymans - arrange it all there.

Canada - book through one of the brokers specialzing in Cuba tourism.

Don't let the doom sayers worry you - no US citizen with any smarts has EVER paid a fine...our gov't actually does not have the bureaucracy in place to follow through on their threats.

http://www.cubalinda.com has some interesting info and site is operated by former CIA agent who became fed up (so he says wink ).
