hi all--

this summer i am going to stay in a friend's little house with no cooking facilities. i thought i'd bring my propane camp stove if i can get the small cannisters of propane there that fit it. what are the chances? it's just a little two burner greatland brand stove from target. the cannisters look like the size of liter bottles o soda or so. i don't want to lug it down there if can't buy proper fuel and use it. i have a weird feeling maybe they use mostly butane or something else in belize.

anyone have any experience buying small butane cannisters in belize? where'd you get them?

Just a thought, would the airline allow you to board the plane with a propane cannister?

Why not use a hotplate, electric?

when your on the run
and there ain't no sun
propane....

yes, i figured i could bring the stove but not the gas cannisters so was wondering if they can be found once i arrive.

hot plate may be just the ticket! but i'm still curious about the propane if anyone knows about availability.

I think they use butane. Not positive.
