I'm not sure which place you mean....there's a place called Seaview Hotel at the south end near the airstrip which is great...or there was a place called Sea Beezz slightly further north that doesn't look like it's still in operation. We stayed at Seaview in November and it was very comfortable and clean for $25 US a night. Fred, who runs the place lives upstairs, and is a very accomodating host. It's also got a great pier for swimming and nodding off in a hammock. There is a good website for Caye Caulker, I think it's called cayecaulker.org. Have a great time!
