Does anyone know anything about the Roaring River Jungle Lodge 2 miles west of Belmopan?
They have very reasonable rates and answered my email inquiry quickly and nicely.
But is it clean? Is it too close to town? Is the food good?
I couldn't find it on the Belize First site and that's kinda scary.

Nice little spot along Roaring River Creek, (way)downstream from Pooks Hill. I spent an afternoon there, we all enjoyed the meal. Opened not long ago, they have a few cabanas in near the creek and a large bunkhouse-dorm in a large open field. They also just opened a golf course, it looked okay on the news, but I'm not a golfer. But looks like a nice place to putter around.
