George's Kitchen closed??? Please say it isn't so!

Does anyone know if George is cooking someplace else on the island? Hope so, really liked George (and his cooking) and wife.

Has anything opened up in it's place?

Sure am sorry to see this place closed. We really enjoyed it.

I was there in late June and Woody (at Woody's Wharf) said that George leaves the island for 3 to 4 months a year but will return later.

It was closed for remodeling while we were there in mid-June. It was my understanding that George is still in charge. But then again it IS San Pedro and anything........

The building has sold and is being remodeled by the new owners. They plan to open a new restaurant there.

We considered George's Kitchen "our kitchen."

George would make us whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted (except Tuesday's)...and he would do it good.
