We will be arriving in October via a cruise ship to Belize City. My husband and I have been to Caye Caulker before and wanted to take our friends there. I would like to get some information on the water taxis from Belize City as well as a dive shop that we can make arrangements with over the internet. Two of us snorkle and two of us dive and would even be interested in rent the boat for half a day so that we could do both. (Cruise ship tours do not offer both out of the same boat and we would like to stay together) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since you will have limited time I suggest you fly to Caye Caulker from Belize Municipal airport and fly back, though this will cost a bit more it will save alot of fun time. The plane takes 10 minutes. Maya Island Air or Tropic Air serve the island. You can make reservations in advance on their websites.

I have been very happy with Paradise Down Diveshop, they are professional and very safe. Their email is [email protected]

Hope you enjoy your return trip with your friends.
