If I wear boots to the airport (because of all the snow here in NH)..when should I take them off
and what do I do with them? Will I look funny leaving Boston in Sandals? or! should I get off the plane in BZ with my boots still on? of course, then I will look funny when I get there.
I don't want to look funny!
Should I send this dilemma to the "Playboy Advisor"? but then they might ignore me!

What to do?

Good one, my chuckle for today.

We, too, leave from the SNOW country and leave the boots in the car along with our heavy duty winter coats, gloves and hats.

The shuttle takes us to our metal tundra as soon as we return to NY.

I must have asked Heloise, I don't know how I learned this, LOL, and I don't see a vinegar solution \:\)

Playboy Advisory, chilly

We usually hit the airport with a light windbreaker and sneakers. Not much snow to slog through at the airport, and exposure is fairly short so not much discomfort. On the final flight to Belize city, about a half hour or so out, everyone (not just us) lines up for the rest rooms to change into shorts and t-shirts, which are kept in the carryons. The clothes that are taken off stay packed until the return flight, and we change back into them on the plane before we touch down. Keep a heavier coat in the car, so you don't have to suffer through the cars warmup. We usually send one person to bring the car up to the arrival gate while the rest check the luggage through.
I have a pair of pants with the zipper legs which simplifies things. You can always spot the first timers as they get off the plane in BC in cold weather gear, and they look decidedly uncomfortable in the customs line. The rest of us just have glow-in-the-dark white legs. \:D

that made me laugh more than I have all day - thx

Bobber gave ya good idea about the change of clothes - if you have time, chg in the johns at your connecting airport - Miami - Houston, Dallas, Charlotte wherever. You won't look any more odd than some other things you are guaranteed to see! Even done it in Newark - luiv to make those Jerseyites confused :p

off now to turn down the lights & get nekkid - I wanna see if I glow ;\)

Actually, I am kinda dark complectioned and don't really glow. It takes me two days to pick up a decent tan and I can hang on to it for months. Here it is mid Dec and I still have sandal marks on my feet. My wife glows white when we get there and red when we come back.
It still seems a bit chill when we connect in Houston or Dallas, so I like to wait until just before we hit the ground. As far as "odd" looking, Hey, I am on vacation and the rest of those stiffs in the airport are probably working. \:D
