congrats to all of you pats fans out there!!!!
i am kind of glad that it is over, now we can get houston back to normal. where did they put all of the homeless folks so that downtown could be roped off for a party!!!!
did anyone attend? sammy hagar was great! toby keith joined him on friday night. both sammy and toby returned to entertain the croud with the fabulous thunderbirds later on. hope you all had the chance to ride our new light rail. OMG. we used it to get downtown but flagged a cab back. all in all it was fun.

A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl.
As he sits down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the
seat next to him.

"No." he says, "The seat is empty." "This is incredible." said the man.
"Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, =
the biggest sporting event inthe world, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to
come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we
haven't been to together since we got married in 1967." "Oh, I'm sorry
to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else -- a
friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?".

The man shakes his head. "No, they're all at the funeral."

So I'm sure you've all heard about the streaker...
Apparently the police were aided by Patriots linebacker Matt Chatham.

Well as it turns out the BBC was broadcasting the game, one of the announcers is an American.

His commentary after Chatham leveled him went something like this...

"Wow, what a tackle on that streaker"

The broad caster, who has an English wife, and has worked for the BBC for years thought he knew every colloquialism and slang reference was somewhat taken aback when his English co-broadcaster nearly busted a gut laughing.

Tackle it turns out is English vernacular for the business end of the male anatomy.
