Hospice gals came, got Joe all duded up. He noted the bather was young and beautiful, and she was jiving to his 50's music playing. She stated this is the first home, I have heard music playing in the patient's room.

Oh interesting, I had made up the hospital bed before they arrive, and put my Belize beach towel between the sheet and mattress, they stripped the bed and up on their linens, but LEFT that Belize towel on the bed.....HMMMM.

I am so relieved with him being in a bed with rails.

I was frightened all day and night, he might fall.

Hospice workers are a God send. It takes a very special person to do that job. I hope they are a good source of information and comfort to you Chloe. They helped us tremendously when Jim's mom was ill.

I agree about hospice nurses. My son's nurse Kelly was very young and cute--- lifting his spirits everyday. She refused to take a day off since Cheyenne refused to let anyone else touch hm. She is one of the angels here on earth.
Chloe, my heart goes out to you. I wish you peace.

Oh yes they are angels, and I needed those angels today, and looking forward to seeing them everyday, from now on.

Hospice does a lot of good things. I also benefited from their group grief counseling sessions after Gary died. I met a lot of nice people who were going through the same things. There are lots of angels around. More hugs & prayers to you Chloe & Hubby Joe.

Hospice nurses are really an invaluable asset. They perform their duties with respect and in quiet. They allow ourselves to tend to other matters while they perform some much needed services.
