Schedule Of Events

Friday June 27th

~ 7 pm Fishing Tournament Registration at Lobsterfest Grounds

· Registration fee $100 per boat & $35 per angler (includes 1 Lobsterfest T-shirt & 2 drink coupons)

· Raffle for $100 worth of fuel from Shell Placencia for all boats that have entered into the tournament

~ 9 pm – 2 am Dance with the Griga Boyz sponsored by M-N-M Hardware & Service Station Of Independence Village



Saturday June 28th

~ 5 am Start of Fishing Tournament

~ 10 am Food & Craft Booths Open

~ 12 noon Opening Ceremonies

~ 2 pm Traveller's Liquor Rum Punch Competition

~ 4 pm Fishing Tournament Weigh In Day 1

~ 8 pm – 2 am Dance with Santino's Messengers sponsored by Yearwood Properties.



Sunday June 29th

~ 5 am Start of Day 2 of the Fishing Tournament

~ 8 am Food & Craft Booths Open

~ 11am Games & Events

~ 1 pm Final Weigh In for the Fishing Tournament

~ 2 pm Blessing Of the Boats Followed By The Boat Parade

~ 3:30 pm Presentation of $100 prize courtesy of Wallen's Market for the Largest Lobster

~ 4 pm Presentation of Fishing Tournament Prizes

~ 4:30 pm Placencia BTIA Lobsterfest Raffle

~ 6 pm Dance with Inner Vibrations

I can't wait. Is the Rum Punch competition for the best tasting drink or for the most rum consumed in the shortest period of time? In the first case - I volunteer to judge, In the second case - I fear the competion would be fierce.
