Monday of this week US Air fare cle to bze $590.00 for 3-17-05 thru 4-4-05. Yesterday when I was going to book it the best I could get was $685.00. Now I'm in decision vally.

I think you are trying to book too early. I've gotten the best deals from Providence 30 to 45 days before my trip. I know you can't always take the chance, but I would wait a bit. US Air may be in a different position in early January. If they are able to restructure again, they may have more specials.

book closer to the time that is the key if you can roll the dice.

Those are busy dates though....if the availability is not there, the price won't go down.

Came down in Dec 30 and stayed till the jan 12.

Here is what I paid from Saint louis missouri

I joined a few internet travel newsletters (6 months prior to vacation) and kept opening them up every week to find the best deal. In late november a special deal came up from Frontier airlines our of KC Missouri. $99 each way to cancun so i booked it immedietly. I then flew southwest airline eachway from St louis to KC for $39.00, Took the bus from cancun to Chetumal for $18.00. then took taxi to New Market bus terminal for 10 pesos and then bus to Corozal for $2.00 the taxi from bus station to local airport $5 Belize and then the island hopper each way for $35.00. On the way back I hired a cab in Corozal directly through customs to the Chetumal main bus terminal. Next time down will do the same. It took me an extra two days in travel but was easy and I speak no spanish at all.
Conclusion....wait till the last minute to book travel and they always have specials running to cancun on the internet starting in late nov-feb.

Hope this helps in getting there on the cheap. Still had to pay all the taxes and custom fees but everyone has to

had a fantatstic time and will return soon
