What a sad, tragic event right before Christmas, as most of those injured and killed were women and children. How ironic that the assailants claimed the attack was to protest the death sentence. Those muderous thugs are such cowards. Good luck to the goverment of Honduras in fighting these vicious gangs, they number over 100,000. What a reminder that although I sit comfortably in front of my pc at home, reasonably safe from harm, cruelty and terror is the reality for many worldwide, and just not that of the al-Qaida kind. God bless the victims and their families.

A prayer to all of those who suffer in the world, for whatever reason. The innocent have enough suffering to endure without being targeted for political reasons.

How true both db and bobber... It just boggles the minds, day in and day out, to try and comprehend everything that is going on in this world right now and to try and make some sense of it all.

Now we have groups gunning down innocent people in order to protest the death penalty... almost as stupid as fighting and killing... for peace. confused

It hasn't made sense in a long time...
