My fiance and I are planning our weddingmoon for November and would like to go to Placencia. I have read many wonderful posts and am trying to narrow things down, so here are a few questions...I'd like to stay in a cabana on the beach (but not too expensive), and be able to go snorkeling and on a few day trips - any suggestions? How will the weather be the end of November, is a fan in the room sufficient?

Any suggestions on places for a wedding? Any other details? A photographer?
Also, we were thinking of renting a vehicle and are looking for information on how to arrange that and general cost.

There are many wonderful spots to have a ceremony as well as dinner/reception/party in Placencia.

End of November marks the end of hurricane season. You will probably still get some rain. Temperatures tend to be a little bit cooler going into December, so a fan will probably be just fine.

Singing Sands in Maya Beach has cabanas, lush grounds, a pool, and is reasonably priced. Maya Beach is a bit north of Placencia and Seine Bight.

I second the recommendation for Lewis Auto. We rented from Kevin on our first trip and have never had cause to look further.
