Showing up in the Cayo District in 2 week for October/November 5 night stay (Banana Bank for horse back rides and Ians Cave Branch for hard core fun) and we're curious as to what to bring to keep the No-see-ums, skeeters, or other biting bugs at bay during day hikes and evening. Deet Spray, Citronella candles, or?

Long sleeve light cotton shirts and pants suggested over tank tops and shorts?

thanks!

See you in a couple weeks.

you got the clothes right, we used to bring deep woods off, the 100% deet stuff. we usually have some of that along, but prefer the skin so soft from avon. not such a chemically smell. its a lotiion not so watery too.

and like those bug sticks for putting benadryl on bites.

marty's right about the "skin so soft" from avon...they also offer the "skin so soft bug guard plus insect repellent". IR3535 insect repellent and spf30 moisturizing sunblock lotion...it's all in one tube....worked great for me.... cool

Mosquito coils come in handy and are easy to transport!
