I am moveing to San Pedro in June with my 13 yr. old son. We lived in S.P. for 8 months in '98 and he was enrolled at Island Acedemy, I think he is now beyond there. Does any one have info on the "hybrid" high school I read about in the San Pedro Sun? Or any ideas of where to place him?

Thanks for input, we live in Toronto, and he is going into grade 8 in Sept. which is the last year of Middle School here. Not sure if first year of San Pedro High is the place to put him. Also as a nonresident can he enroll at the public high school?

I was home schooled for some of my high school years in Belize.

I completed grade eight with the Cambridge School and grades ten and eleven with the University of Nebraska Department of Independent Study while living in San Ignacio.

I don't have the patience to home school. Would likely strangle myself or son in short order. But thanks for info.
