Yep we did! Finally got to meet Captain Jeff last night.

It has been announced on the Belize airwaves that the rumoured airport strike will happen today. This srike was spearheaded by two gringas from their corporate BC (does not stand for Belize CIty) office who have an extensive list of demands for the Belize government. hmmmm....well they were dancing on the ferry so I don't know that they were planning on attending a church service anytime soon.....

Back home and never did quite make that church service! What a fun trip. Met lots of good people and again, left some of my heart there. Guess it is back to work today to start saving for the next round!!!

Back home today and semi back to work. Still in a fog after leaving 90 degree temperatures and hitting Michigan at 48 degrees. Brrrr.... Had a blast, as usual. Planning my next trip as I type

Hi Gela: woo hooooo pleased to meet you...Tulu! Funny, I cannot remember my password here at work and we have been working on it for an hour!

It was nice to meet everybody and I especially enjoyed the snorkel/boat bar hopping trip with Tulu. What a hoot.

Laurie - I am still on cloud 9 but got home to find that they fired our CEO, COO and CFO and replaced them with others. Also, I didn't get a paycheck like I had thought on Friday. Weird crap going on. But my kitty was very happy to see me (even though she had to deal with 2 visiting dogs - I'll explain that over the phone).

Tulu was a hoot - he must always be on my list of things to do on AC.

Govikes - thank you so much for arranging our outing with Tulu. He was a kick. Definitely want an all day trip with him next time so we can sing all day

Govikes - I will definitely be down there again this year. Not sure if it will be October or November. I know, too darn long!!!

Glad you girls had another great time in Paradise. Tulu is the "best", "there is more time than life"! Couldn't imagine a trip without him. All day, bbq or Caye Caulker (Feb BD trip)& bar hopping too. It's all good, only problem is he's gotten too popular & where you could have him for the whole week exclusively, now you may have to wait. Add my friend, "Floozy Susie" to the mix :rolleyes:

Tulu has no idea how "famous" he is. Next trip will definitely be all day BBQ, snorkel, bar hop.

More singing: please, don't you rock my boat, cuz I don't want my boat to be rockin'!

Papshine - you made me laugh - I needed that today thanks.

Tulu is now sporting a cool new hat that Laurie gave him. We ran into him a few days after the trip and he was wearing it proudly. Sure looked good on him.

Papa- I also got a good laugh - much needed as work sucks upon my return.

Tulu does look pretty darn' good in that hat!

I've been doing nothing that does not involve driving back and forth between here and LA and here and your neck of the woods - not at all fun. I want to live vicariously - details, please, details! Or at least pictures and an edited trip report . . . :p

Law: at least you have work. I came back from vacation to bad news about my job, so I am soooo glad I had the greatest time!
