Anybody know what if anything has happened to Tina's backpackers? I know it moved to beside the split, but I've heard rumours that that one has closed as well. Where does a poor student go for a cheap room now?

Tina's Backpacker Hostel has closed and she has opened Tina's Guesthouse, beachfront, near the water taxi peir. I don't know what their rates are. Budget accommodations still abound on Caye Caulker though, just walk north from the peir on Front Street.

So is the new Tina's guesthouse where the old Tina's backpacker's used to be? What happened to the "new" Tina's backpackers? I thought it was a great location! Is it a house rental now too?

Tina's Guest House is located right in front to the right as you walk off of the main pier. It is painted with bright colors, and she has a little garden in front. Reasonably priced and a nice place to stay.
