Hello everyone:

Congratulations are in order to the Caye Caulker Barracudas (Allie, Patrick and Bernard) who placed third in the Mixed Team Division of the La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge 2004.

It was a grueling race, with the paddlers paddling for eight hours straight some days.

There was beautiful scenery everywhere. We (the cheering squad and support crew) climbed up and down different stretches of riverbank several dozen times daily, it felt similar to being on a stairmaster :-)
