Prime Minister and Minister of National Development, Said Musa, has handed over houses to 15 families who lost their homes to Hurricane Keith. The houses were built through funding provided by the Board of Episcopal Relief and Development, through the Anglican Diocese of Belize, the Government, and the Caye Caulker Village Council. The Prime Minister Musa said that Belize has suffered about a billion dollars in losses due to natural disasters. However, he added that by working together, we have been able to recover considerably. Prime Minister Musa also praised the Caye Caulker residents for their resilience. The Episcopal Relief and Development is a non-profit organization that works in countries affected by natural disasters.
