Tropic Air has two flights to Placencia from Belize City.
1) 70$ from Goldson International
2) 59$ from Belize City Municipal

Is Goldson International BZE?

Do I need to spend the extra $11 (*2) $22?

If I land in BZE how difficult is it to get to Belize City Municipal? Taxi cost about $20???

If you fly out of Goldson, Yes it is BZE it only costs $11 US more. I would save the time and just go from there.

If you are a Group of people, it may be a savings but more time consuming. It depends on you, personally.

Yes, your taxi will cost you $20 US to go to Municipal. It doesn't make sense unless there is a group. My personal opinion

Yeah, the savings to destinations other than San Pedro and Caye Caulker from municipal are not as great. You save about half to San Pedro and CC over BZE but generally 15 to 20% to other places. I'm not sure why that is.

If you're in Belize City already, definitely fly from municipal; otherwise, except to CC and San Pedro, it's probably not worth the hassle.

The Maya Island terminal at municipal is nice, though.

If you want a thrill ride, probably like you have never had in the U.S. fly into or out of the "downtown" Belize City airport, not Golson. Real eye opener. Go toBelize Soon and Enjoy. :p
