Zip line opened at Jaguar Paw. I think it 7 platforms, some 70 or so ft above the forest floor, some as far as 500 ft apart. Good fun, guides are serious, gear is good and can be combined with river cave tubing or zoo for a full day trip. Found a new restaurant called Baluum Ha about a mile from JP. Nice grilled foods and lovely spot along the river for swimming. Zip line should be a big attraction.

us$55.00pp, which I think might be underpriced considering the guide to guest ratio required.

I'm gonna have to admit my ignorance, here. What is a zip line? Is it just a jungle-style roller coaster ride (i.e. just for fun), or are you able to see wildlife up in the canopy while you're "zipping" along? Sorry for the dumb questions, but this is a new one for me! Thanks, Sharon

You are strapped into a harness, which is attached to a pulley that let's you glide from one platform to another. You start at a high point and work your way down. You control the descent, a slower glide, or a thrilling zip down. If you are with the right group of folks, not a bunch of loudmouths, you can see some amazing wildlife in the jungle canopy. The platforms are really good as viewing stations.

I'm booking it. Figure its a couple of hours to complete the whole course. Bring a bathing suit along for river swimming.

If it is anything like the one our group just did in Roatan - it is an absolute blast!
Roatan has 11 platforms. You start at the top of a mountain and end up on the beach. It feels like stepping out into nothing but jungle.
The first step off the platform is a bit intimidating but after 30 seconds you get used to it and just enjoy the incredible scenery.
