C, I had friends in town this weekend so I wansn't able to volunteer and know pretty much the same as you, or perhaps less. The friends and I drove past the George R. Brown yesterday and all seemed quiet however, I do know that several companies, such as the one I work for, are still raising money and taking donations. As we all know, this is HUGE. They still are still in need. I heard over the weekend that they received debit (I almost spelled debt LOL!) cards. Hope that those will help out.
Thank you all who have donated luggage and ANYTHING else. I know for fact the luggage that has come in from all over, has gone directly to the donations facility here in Houston. Thanks again so much!
Gosh... all this talk has got me back into to volunteer mode - full force! Will follow-up this week as I plan to get back in there. Needed a break mentally I think.
