Does anyone have info on volunteering in San Pedro on a regular basis each week or on the mainland for a week at a time?

Any info and requirements are appreciated.

It is illegal to work here, paid or unpaid (volunteering), without proper labour and immigration paperwork in place.

If you can find a non-profit organization that's willing to engage you to volunteer, they should assist you in obtaining the necessary permits.

This is the reason I asked for "info and REQUIREMENTS" as I want to follow rules and regulations. Please let me know if you have additional help/info as to how to get this paperwork for volunteer without being paid.

San Pedro Sun always has a listing of the volunteer organizations on the island with numbers and contact names.

Assistance in expiditing a work permit application is around $US5000 a piece. PM if interested.
