Great pictures Simon. Is this a religious or cultural ceremony? ...or is there no difference?

"Una celebracion de Nuestra Cultura y Religion!" - “A celebration of Our Culture and Religion”. It's the celebration of the patron saint of San Pedro - Saint Peter. It starts with a mass at the Catholic church on Thursday at 4am followed by a breakfast at the Lions Den followed by the blessing of the boats and then in the evening by a street procession. The fair opens up that night with ferris wheels, rides, games and fireworks. Friday and Saturday are fair days with entertainment and then Sunday is the fishing tournament, the bicycle race and the big beach party in front of Caliente's.
